Grape seed extracts were shown to have anti-hyperglycemic effects on diabetes. Grape seed extract- procyanidins was found to have antihyperglycemic effect in a study of diabetic rat. And, the way that procyanidin (grape seed extract ) affects the activities of insulin-sensitive cell lines was very similar to insulin's.
