Grape seed extracts have anti-stress and anti-oxdation activities. In a study of rats, grape seed extract showed antistress (adaptogenic), antioxidant and nootropic activities. Activin, a grape seed-derived proanthocyanidin extract, was shown to reduce the inflammatory response and the oxidative stress developed in systemic sclerosis patients.
