Grape seed extract was shown to work against breast cancer. Eng ET et al at Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope, CA, found that procyanidin B dimers in red wine and grape seed could be used as chemopreventive agents against breast cancer by suppressing in situ estrogen biosynthesis.
